Popstars Academy

Our ethos is for all children to build in confidence and most importantly to have fun while progressing in dance.

The classes encompass Choreographed Routines to current Chart Music, Hip-Hop, Freestyle and Street with an array of Dance Props, including Pom Poms, Glitter Microphones, Dance Ribbons and Blow up Guitars!

The term time classes are carefully planned so our students can progress through our Technical Dance Syllabus and fun Choreographed Routines. We want to ensure that each individual can meet their true potential whilst building confidence and enjoying themselves.

The lessons are a mixture of energising 'feel good' routines combined with more challenging choreography. We always pride ourselves on being up-to-date with the latest chart tracks, new trends and influences from television, cinema and theatre, whilst not forgetting the children’s all time favourites.

At the end of the Summer Term there is a chance for parents to see how their children have progressed at our dance presentation where each child receives our Popstar medal in recognition of their achievements.

All our Instructors are qualified Dance Teachers who undergo Popstars training and are committed to excellence. Every child is invited to come along for a free trial class. They will be welcomed by their Dance Instructor and assistant and found a 'Popstar Friend' if they do not already know someone in the class. Each child receives our Academy T-shirt on registration.
